I’m Reuben, a surface pattern designer and illustrator located in the south of England.

In 2023, I graduated with a degree in textiles and whilst knitwear was my specialism, I developed a strong focus on hand-drawn illustrative surface pattern design, using pattern as a form of visual storytelling. My work retains expressive, fluid marks inspired by illustrators such as Quentin Blake.

Based near Brighton, My work spans illustration, licensing and commissioned projects, alongside collections for wallpaper, textiles and art prints
