I’m Reuben, a surface pattern designer and illustrator located in the south of England.

In 2023, I graduated with a degree in textiles and whilst knitwear was my specialism, I developed a strong focus on hand-drawn illustrative surface pattern design, using pattern as a form of visual storytelling. My work retains expressive, fluid marks inspired by illustrators such as Quentin Blake.

Based near Brighton, I am working for licensing and commission. Alongside licensing and commission work, I am developing collections for wallpaper, textiles and art prints.
